摘要：新竹縣新埔鎮前巨埔里里長曾國渠，民國89年成立蓮花推廣協會，在自家2分土地，開始種植蓮花，從種植、養護到蓮子採收，曾國渠都親自下田，如今祖孫三代，每到7月都會全家出動採收蓮子。全新竹最大的蓮子產地，就是在曾國渠家中的蓮花田，今年的產量達1百多斤，豐收的成果全家都樂不可支。
