網路上盛傳「五秒定律」，就是食物不小心掉落時，在與地板接觸的五秒內撿起仍可食用。不過真的可以吃嗎？英國阿斯頓大學的研究首次證實，這項假設可能是正確的，但濕度地板種類是關鍵，他們把不同濕度的食物，與三種類型的地板做接觸發現，濕黏的糖果接觸地面五秒後細菌轉移到糖果上濕度較低的烤麵包30秒後才有細菌附著，所以假如掉在地上的食物，能在五秒內撿起，細菌可能還來不及附著到上面。 2014-04-24 方彥迪 / 報導
